A view from Presentation Convent Ballinskelligs - Our Summer Retreat Centre

 

Greetings from all connected with the Ballinskelligs Centre, Co Kerry.

We hope you had a very happy Christmas and we would like to wish you all health and happiness in the new year.

Just to let you know of our planned events for 2010.

Following our long association with Mount St Joseph’s Abbey, Roscrea, we hope to have two weekends this year again,
one in February 2010 from Friday, February 5th to Sunday, February 7th
and one in October 2010 from Friday, October 8th to Sunday, October 10th. 

The Presentation Sisters have again kindly agreed to make their summer house at Ballinskelligs available and this will be open for residents and visitors between Thursday, 20th May and Thursday, 10th June 2010.

 

There will be three events at Ballinskelligs:-

 

(1)  Ms. Marie McManus will lead Mind Body Meditation for the weekend of Friday, May 21st to Sunday May 23rd 2010.

 

(2)  Ms. Pat Murphy will lead a Meditation and Yoga Retreat between Friday, 28th May to Sunday, 30th May 2010.
Pat’s yoga practice is very gentle and suitable for all ages and we are delighted that she can be with us again this year.

                                                        Note: This weekend retreat is now full.

 

(3)  Fr. Pat Murray will be at the Ballinskelligs Centre for a nature weekend from Friday, 4th June to Sunday, 6th June 2010.
Theme:  Meditation “Creation rightly gives you praise”.
 
If you would like to attend any of these planned events or avail of the residential facilities at Ballinskelligs (full board €55 per day), please let us know as soon as possible.
